Spring Parking Lot/Garage Sale

Boy Scout Troop #23 will hold their Spring Parking Lot/Garage Sale on Thursday and Friday, April 12th and 13th at Wesley United Methodist Church. This bi-annual event has offered a wide range of items from appliances, office furniture, china, collectibles and even exceptional antiques. Be sure to get here early to take advantage of the great selections-hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

The troop is now taking donations for the sale. Items that are in fair to good condition, in working order (electronics must properly work) and not missing pieces and parts may be dropped off at the office Mon through Thurs, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. If you would like someone to pick-up your items, please contact the church at 405.525.3521 and schedule your pick-up appointment.

Beth Moore’s “Living Beyond Yourself-Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit” curriculum directs Women’s Bible Study Group

Our Tuesday night Bible study group will resume on March 6 from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Media Room located in the children’s area. This session will last for 11 weeks. Our instructor will be Susan Howard. Please contact the church office at 405.5253521 by March 1 if you would like to participate so sufficient text books can be purchased. The cost per book will depend on the number enrolled.

The study group will be using Beth Moore’s, “Living Beyond Yourself-Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit,” an in-depth women’s Bible study of the fruit of the Holy Spirit as presented in the book of Galatians. Beth walks participants through each trait listed in the fruit and encourages women to know the freedom of a Spirit-filled life. Through this study participants will look at the supernatural aspects of the fruit and that you cannot grow, learn, or produce the fruit on your own. Beth challenges you to develop the fruit by maintaining an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God. A Spirit-filled life truly results in living beyond yourself.

The Boutique Thrift shop Hours

Tuesday and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Our women’s clothing and accessory boutique offers quality second-hand merchandise. The boutique is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Stop by and take a peek at our shop. The boutique is located on the downstairs floor. Please enter from the west entrance.

The boutique accepts donations of high quality women’s clothes and accessories. The boutique does not sell men’s or children’s clothing. Donations are accepted Monday thru Thursday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

MOBILE MEALS TURNS 40 Years OLD

Wesley’s Mobile Meals lunch program serves seniors a hot meal each Thursday. This year, Mobile Meal celebrates their 40th anniversary in the Oklahoma City area. MM serves home bound seniors in OKC lunch throughout the week. If you are unable to cook for yourself and home bound, please call Mobile Meals office at 405.607.2413 for more information about receiving hot lunches delivered to your home.

Friendship Sunday-Last Sunday of Each Month

Bring yourself, your family, your friends, your neighbors and your relatives to enjoy the invigorating words of Rev. Diana Cox Crawford and enjoy beautiful hymns and music from Dr. Frank Ragsdale and the Sanctuary choir. The last Sunday of each month we welcome all visitors to Wesley for Friendship Sunday. Service begins at 19:30 a.m. Please feel free to come at 9 a.m. and participate in our children or adult Sunday school classes.
